Where AnyAutomation Studio is heading. This roadmap shows direction, not committed delivery dates. Priorities may shift based on customer feedback.
AnyAutomation Studio is the next generation of TIA Openness Manager: familiar capabilities in a code-first editor with AI at the centre. Studio is released: the current version is available for download on GitHub. Suggestions and feature requests are always welcome at support@anyautomation.ch.
Already built
- TIA Portal integration: project explorer; analyze, export, compare, and generate blocks (V15-V21)
- Open TIA projects offline: read and browse blocks without TIA Portal installed (Pro and above)
- CODESYS: open projects, browse objects as a tree, view and edit block code, import and export as PLCopenXML (Pro and above)
- Import / Export: bulk export/import with folder structure, compile, and diff
- PLC Online: live to the controller over S7 and OPC UA, observe and write values
- Multi-User: open, edit, and check in TIA multi-user sessions right in Studio
- AI Cascade: project-wide AI assistant with multi-provider support, local models, and MCP tools
- Codebase index: semantic project search for the AI assistant, local-first
- Password Vault: AES-256-encrypted vault for know-how protection passwords
- Forge: reusable block-type library
- SCADA: generate a FUXA web SCADA from the TIA project and provision it onto a running instance
- Unit tests: SCL unit tests on PLCSIM or real hardware
- Hardware simulation: start and control PLCSIM Advanced instances from Studio
- EPLAN connector: bridge to EPLAN for electrical-engineering data exchange
- SCL editor: syntax highlighting, navigation, and language features
- Git client: full version control for your automation project
